To search, select what to search (paragraphs, sentences, headings, etc.), a search mode (and/or/exact), enter one or more words to search for and then click the "Find" button.

Search Scope - Selecting a search format.

1. Paragraphs. Choose "Paragraphs" from the drop down box to search for a word or combination of words that occurrs anywhere within a single paragraph.
2. Sentences. Choose "Sentences" from the drop down box to search for a word or combination of words that occurrs anywhere within a single sentence.
3. Phrases. Choose "Phrases" from the drop down box to search for a word or combination of words that occurrs anywhere within a single phrase.
4. Headings. Choose "Headings" from the drop down box to search for a word or combination of words that occurrs anywhere within a single heading.

Search Mode - Selecting a search type.

1. All of these words. (AND) Choose "all of these words" from the drop down box to search for a word or combination of words that ALL occur anywhere within the selected search scope (paragprahs, sentences, phrases or headings).
2. Any of these words. (OR) Choose "any of these words" from the drop down box to search the selected search scope (paragprahs, sentences, phrases or headings) for any one or more of the words.
3. Exact Phrase. (Exact) Choose "this exact phrase" from the drop down box to search for a specific phrase that occurs anywhere within the selected search scope (paragprahs, sentences, phrases or headings).

Search Terms - Entering search terms.

1. Enter one or more words. Enter one or more words in the search box to look for.
2. Case not sensitive. Searches are NOT case sensitive. It does not matter whether the word is upper or lower case, or capitalized.
3. Punctuation. It is best not to enter punctuation except in exact searches.
4. Auto-Search. To conduct a search for a single word that appears on the page, simply click on the word. The current search scope (paragprahs, sentences, phrases or headings) and the current search type (and/or/exact) are retained.
5. Auto-Select. To search for multiple words that appear on the page, hilite the phrase with the mouse. Place the mouse carefully bewteen words (the mouse cursor should change) so that it is not over a link. Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor across the word to hilite the phrase then release the mouse button. When you release the mouse button the hilited phrase is copied to the search box automatically. You can then click "Find" to conduct the search.
